Eaton to Invest $30 Million in New Nebraska Manufacturing Facility
Eaton is set to establish a 370,000-sq-ft facility in Bellevue, Nebraska, beginning production of medium-voltage switchgear in 2027. This expansion is projected to create over 200 jobs and is a response to the growing demand for electrical equipment in U.S. data centers and utilities.

Eaton will invest over $30 million to open a new manufacturing facility in Bellevue, Nebraska, with production expected to start in the first half of 2027. The 370,000-square-foot site will focus on medium-voltage switchgear, crucial for electrical systems in data centers and utilities, addressing a market projected to grow from $17.8 billion in 2024 to $31.8 billion by 2034.
The facility aims to create over 200 jobs in engineering, manufacturing, and production, with hiring anticipated to begin later this year. This expansion reflects Eaton's strategy to enhance U.S. manufacturing capacity, which has seen over $1.5 billion in investments since 2023. The move may help mitigate supply chain constraints faced by industrial and utility sectors as numerous data centers are planned across the country.
