Eclipse Metals Expands Critical Minerals Discovery at Ivigtût Project in Greenland
Eclipse Metals has revealed significant potential for high-tech critical minerals at its Ivigtût project in Greenland, with notable assays indicating multiple mineralized domains. This discovery could transform Ivigtût from a historical fluorite mine into a key resource for various strategic minerals, including gallium and rubidium.

Eclipse Metals has identified a broader range of critical minerals at its Ivigtût project in Greenland, with new assays revealing high-grade fluorine alongside gallium, rubidium, niobium, tantalum, hafnium, and yttrium. Recent drilling, totaling 503 meters, produced significant results, including a 10-meter section grading 32.2% fluorine and a 122-meter interval with 37 ppm gallium.
Historical mining focused on cryolite and fluorspar, leaving other strategic minerals unexplored. The project could evolve into a multi-commodity critical minerals hub, pending further metallurgical studies to confirm the economic viability of the newly identified minerals. The growing demand for these elements in technology and clean energy underscores the project's strategic importance.
