EcoGraf Secures Patent and Advances Tanzanian Project with $516M Valuation
EcoGraf's patent for HFfree® technology strengthens its market position as it progresses with the Epanko project in Tanzania. The company's stock, however, remains under pressure despite these developments.

EcoGraf has received a patent from India's patent office for its HFfree® cleaning technology, valid until May 2041, enabling the production of battery anode materials and lithium-ion battery recycling. The Epanko project in Tanzania has a net present value of $516 million and an internal rate of return of 31%.
The KfW IPEX-Bank is expected to arrange a secured loan of up to $105 million for the project. Despite these advancements, EcoGraf's stock is trading at €0.19, approximately 50% below its 52-week high from October 2025, with a 14% decline over the past month. The company's next critical milestone will be the formal completion of the KfW loan, which could initiate construction at Epanko.
