EET Hydrogen plans to make a final investment decision on its 350MW blue hydrogen project in the UK in late 2026, following the addition of a hydrogen-ready CHP unit to secure financing. CEO Joe Seifert highlighted the project's long development at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, emphasizing that it has been ready for construction since completing engineering design five years ago.

EET Hydrogen aims for a final investment decision on its 350MW blue hydrogen project, located at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in the UK, in the second half of 2026. The project, known as HPP1, encountered financing challenges, prompting the addition of a hydrogen-ready combined heat and power (CHP) unit to enhance its financing appeal. CEO Joe Seifert noted the project has been prepared since completing front-end engineering design five years ago and was initially set to begin construction in 2024.
