Egypt Advances Development Projects in North Sinai to Attract Investment
Egypt's government is intensifying efforts to implement a comprehensive development plan in North Sinai, with a focus on urban, industrial, and tourism sectors. The initiatives are designed to position the region as a key investment destination, supported by significant infrastructure projects and incentives for local participation.

Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced the government's commitment to expedite the second phase of a national development plan for North Sinai, which includes diverse projects in agriculture, industry, mining, and urban development. Key initiatives encompass healthcare facilities, drinking water systems, desalination plants, and major upgrades to El-Arish Airport and the city's seaport.
The government is also developing a logistics zone in El-Arish to enhance trade connectivity. These projects aim to position North Sinai as a vital investment hub, promoting active local participation in sustainable development efforts.
