Eight Bids Submitted for Hassyan Desalination Pipeline Project
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received eight bids for the Hassyan desalination pipeline works, with bids ranging from AED 335.92 million to AED 495.20 million. This project aims to enhance Dubai's water transmission capacity and reliability in line with rising demand.

DEWA is evaluating bids for the installation of glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipelines linked to the Hassyan Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant's second phase. The bids are as follows: Binladin Contracting Group at AED 335.92 million, Green Oasis General Contracting Co. at AED 345.00 million, Al Nasr Contracting Co. at AED 391.54 million, and others, culminating with Gulf Petrochemical Services Trading at AED 495.20 million.
The contract will be awarded post-evaluation, adhering to DEWA's procurement rules. This initiative is part of DEWA's strategy to transition to reverse osmosis technology, reducing energy consumption while meeting the emirate's growing water needs.
