Eight Start-ups Compete for S$4M in Climate Tech Funding at TLC 2026
Eight finalists from six countries will compete for S$4 million in funding at The Liveability Challenge 2026, focusing on cooling and decarbonisation technologies. This year's competition attracted a record 1,500 submissions, highlighting the growing demand for climate solutions globally.

The Liveability Challenge 2026 will feature eight finalists from the UK, Singapore, US, Japan, Estonia, and France, competing for S$4 million in funding on 20 May 2026. The competition received over 1,500 submissions from more than 100 countries, emphasizing the urgency of addressing climate challenges through innovative technologies.
Finalists include Endo Enterprises, FlueVault, Metha8, MacroCycle Technologies, Power To Hydrogen, Spacecool, UP Catalyst, and Yama, with solutions ranging from carbon capture to cooling technologies. The event will award S$1 million to each of the top two winners, along with additional funding for leading Decarbonisation solutions. The climate tech market is projected to reach US$115 billion by 2030, influenced by geopolitical shifts in investment priorities.
