El Corte Inglés has rebranded its data center subsidiary as Kumo Networks, part of a strategy to enhance private cloud services and digital resilience. This follows El Corte Inglés's acquisition of the remaining 50% of the joint venture with Kio Networks in 2024.

Kumo Networks operates a data center in Murcia, launched in 2014, and is developing a second facility in Valencia, which began construction in 2023. The company aims to shift focus from hosting to managed private cloud services for businesses and government agencies.
