El Corte Inglés has renamed its data center subsidiary to Kumo Networks as part of a strategy to bolster private cloud services and digital resilience. This rebranding follows the company's acquisition of the remaining 50% of its joint venture with Kio Networks in 2024. Kumo Networks, which operates a data center in Murcia and is developing a second facility in Valencia, aims to transition from hosting to managed private cloud services for businesses and government agencies.
