Elektros Secures Patent for Multi-Port EV Charging Technology
Elektros has patented a multi-port EV charging system that allows simultaneous charging from two chargers, potentially reducing charging times significantly without requiring upgrades to vehicle specifications. This technology could impact a wide range of EV platforms globally, enhancing charging efficiency for both commercial and passenger vehicles.

Elektros has obtained a patent for a multi-port EV charging assembly designed to enable vehicles to charge from two separate chargers concurrently, potentially reducing charging times. This system facilitates power management through a single interface, making it compatible with Level 2 EV chargers, which typically output up to 19kW.
While the technology aims for a recharging time of approximately seven minutes, it does not surpass the speeds of ultra-fast charging solutions currently available, primarily limited by vehicle battery capabilities. Elekros, incorporated in late 2020 and headquartered in Florida, is focused on lithium mining and energy consulting services, positioning itself within the EV and AI sectors.
