Element Six Partners with Oxi-Tech for Food Plant Sanitation Solutions
Element Six and Oxi-Tech Solutions have formed a partnership to implement diamond-enabled cleaning technologies in food and beverage plants, focusing on ozone generation from water and low-voltage electricity. This initiative targets efficiency in sanitation processes, aiming to reduce water and chemical usage while ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.

Element Six (E6) and Oxi-Tech Solutions announced a partnership on May 20, 2026, to introduce advanced cleaning technologies in food production. Their approach utilizes ozone generated on-site, using boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes, enhancing the durability of sanitation methods.
The system has already been validated at Yeo Valley's Yoxter Organic Farm, demonstrating its effectiveness in a dairy clean-in-place process. This technology could potentially reduce water and chemical usage in high-throughput food plants, addressing environmental concerns while maintaining hygiene standards. However, the success of this system across varied food processing environments will require rigorous validation as different products present unique cleaning challenges.
