Emirates SkyCargo Plans Fleet Expansion and Logistics Growth for 2026
Emirates SkyCargo has set its logistics priorities for 2026 following significant fleet expansion and network growth in 2025. The cargo division aims to deliver up to 10 Boeing 777Fs by December 2026, increasing its freighter fleet to at least 21 aircraft.
This expansion includes new freighter services to multiple international destinations and enhanced operational flexibility. Interline partnerships with Astral Aviation and Teleport were established to improve connectivity to secondary airports.
The airline's logistics infrastructure is also being upgraded, with 40 new Euro 6 trucks and five hydrogen-powered trucks planned for early 2026. Digital bookings surged to nearly 80% by December 2025, with further enhancements anticipated in 2026.
New services, including Emirates Courier Express, expanded rapidly, alongside growth in perishables and healthcare logistics. Emirates SkyCargo's roadmap for 2026 includes doubling capacity and adding 20 new freighter destinations.
