EnBW Launches 6.22 MW Solar Park in Öhringen with 6.1 MWh Storage
The new solar park in Öhringen will generate 7 million kWh annually, supplying power to 2,500 households. This facility supports Germany's climate goals by reducing CO2 emissions by 5,000 tons per year.

EnBW has launched a solar park in Öhringen with an installed capacity of 6.22 MWp and a battery storage capacity of 6.1 MWh. Covering 5.72 hectares, the park features 10,000 VSun solar modules and is projected to produce 7 million kWh of electricity annually.
This output will cater to approximately 2,500 households and reduce carbon emissions by 5,000 tons per year. Construction commenced in July 2025, with commissioning completed in February 2026. EnBW will manage the park for 30 years, ensuring its effectiveness in meeting local energy demands. The integration of battery storage is a key aspect of EnBW's strategy to enhance solar energy usability and balance supply with demand.
