ENEA has initiated a pilot plant at the Casaccia Research Center in Rome for the separation of hydrogen and methane. This project utilizes membrane technology and is part of the Hydrogen Demo Valley, contributing to the 'Mission Innovation' program that focuses on decarbonization technologies. Collaborating with SIAD S.p.A. and Tecno Project Industriale TPI, the plant is designed for scalability and industrial use, facilitating Power-to-Methane systems to enhance energy system flexibility.
