Energy Development Oman (EDO) recorded a revenue of $14.77 billion in 2025, down from $16.07 billion in 2024. Despite a net profit decline to $523.017 million, EDO's equity grew to $11.63 billion, bolstered by converting shareholder loans into equity.

Energy Development Oman (EDO) reported a revenue of $14.77 billion for 2025, a decrease from $16.07 billion in 2024. The net profit fell to $523.017 million, down from $712.215 million the previous year.
Total revenues and other income also declined to $14.80 billion. Royalty expenses reached $5.2 billion, while depreciation charges increased to $4.12 billion. Profit before interest and tax dropped to $3.72 billion.
However, total equity rose to $11.63 billion, partly due to converting $3.31 billion in shareholder loans into equity. EDO has expanded its portfolio with subsidiaries in the green hydrogen sector and gas operations, reflecting its commitment to Oman's energy transition. The overall decline in earnings may impact future investment strategies.
