Energy Dome Partners with NUAI for LDES Deployment in Texas Data Centre
Energy Dome has signed an MOU with New Era Energy & Digital to deploy its Battery Plus technology in Odessa, Texas, enhancing energy storage capabilities for data centres. The technology's waste heat recovery and non-reliance on Chinese materials position it competitively in the market.

Energy Dome is collaborating with New Era Energy & Digital (NUAI) to implement its Battery Plus technology in a data centre in Odessa, Texas. This technology utilizes adiabatic compression of carbon dioxide for energy storage and improves efficiency by integrating waste heat recovery from gas turbines.
The project aligns with the growing need for data centres to achieve rapid energy deployment, as highlighted by the company's recent ranking as the top non-lithium long-duration energy storage (LDES) provider. Companies like Meta and Noon Energy are also exploring LDES for large-scale data centre applications, reflecting a broader industry trend. However, challenges remain in scaling LDES technology beyond data centres due to structural revenue issues and a lack of market mechanisms for value stacking.
