Energyminer Secures €2.1 Million for River Power Plant Development
Energyminer has raised €2.1 million to commercialize its innovative floating river power plants. This funding aims to accelerate the market introduction of the Energyfish technology, which generates continuous electricity without dams, enhancing renewable energy supply.

Energyminer has successfully secured €2.1 million in funding to advance the commercial rollout of its Energyfish technology, which generates renewable electricity from river currents. This floating plant operates underwater, minimizing ecological disruption and designed to protect fish migration.
Unlike traditional hydroelectric systems, it does not require dams and can adapt during floods or ice conditions by sinking to the riverbed. The generated electricity is intended for local low-voltage grids, potentially serving communities and industrial sites. The funding will facilitate the transition from development to market deployment, aiming for a decentralized energy supply that meets base load demands.
