ENEVO and Kraftfeld Contract for 220 MWh BESS in Romania
ENEVO Group and Kraftfeld Energy have signed an EPC contract for a 110 MW/220 MWh battery energy storage system in Romania. This project enhances ENEVO's portfolio, which now exceeds 1 GWh of storage capacity under execution or operation.

ENEVO Group has entered into a contract with Kraftfeld Energy to construct a 110 MW/220 MWh battery energy storage system in Drăgănești-Olt, Romania. The project includes connection to the high-voltage grid and is set to commence construction in Q3 2026, with expected commissioning in early 2027.
The system's rated discharge power is 110 MW, facilitating integration with the national grid. This initiative reinforces ENEVO's position as a significant EPC partner in Romania's utility-scale battery storage sector, highlighting the increasing importance of energy storage in a decarbonized energy landscape. The successful execution of such projects relies on robust partnerships.
