Enfinity Global has launched its first solar project in Italy, a 33.8MW installation under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Microsoft. This project is part of a broader collaboration where Enfinity is expected to deliver up to 366MW of renewable capacity.
The partnership aims to support Microsoft's sustainability goals while fostering job creation and investment in local communities. The solar projects will be developed across Lazio, Emilia-Romagna, and Basilicata.
Enfinity Global, founded in 2019, has a renewable energy portfolio of 39.3GW and is negotiating an additional 37GW globally. This deal marks one of Microsoft's initial entries into the Italian market, following a €4.3 billion investment commitment announced in October 2024 for cloud and AI infrastructure in Italy.
