Envision AESC Launches 40 GWh Lithium Battery Project and 790 Ah Energy Storage Cell in Yichang
Envision AESC has operationalized its 40 GWh lithium battery project and commenced mass production of the 790 Ah energy storage cell. This development reinforces the company's position in high-capacity energy storage solutions as demand for such technologies continues to grow globally.

On July 15, Envision AESC inaugurated its 40 GWh lithium battery project and launched the production of the 790 Ah energy storage cells in Yichang. The project, signed on October 9, 2025, began construction on October 27 and achieved production readiness in just over nine months.
The 790 Ah cell is the largest of its kind in the industry, with a rated energy of over 2.5 kWh, volumetric energy density exceeding 440 Wh/L, and a cycle life over 12,000 cycles. Envision AESC's facilities operate at full capacity with a backlog of orders, highlighting the growing demand for energy storage solutions. This milestone signifies a strategic advancement in the company's global production capabilities.
