Envision Energy has initiated a 50MW wind power project in Mannar, Sri Lanka, expected to generate 207 million kWh annually. The project features 10 EN-156 5.0 MW turbines, each with a hub height of 110 meters.

Developed by HayWind One Limited, a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC, Envision will supply the turbines and manage operations and maintenance. The project aims to enhance private-sector involvement in Sri Lanka's wind energy sector.

Coastal conditions in Mannar necessitate corrosion-resistant equipment, ensuring a 20-year operational lifespan. This initiative supports Sri Lanka's goal of expanding renewable energy capacity.
