Envision Energy Partners with PepsiCo APAC on Low-Carbon Ammonia Initiative
Envision Energy has delivered 1,000 tonnes of low-carbon ammonia environmental attribute certificates (EACs) to PepsiCo APAC. This collaboration aims to reduce Scope 3 emissions in the fertilizer industry by leveraging innovative tracking mechanisms for environmental attributes.

On July 30, 2026, Envision Energy completed the delivery of 1,000 tonnes of low-carbon ammonia environmental attribute certificates (EACs) to PepsiCo APAC. These certificates are managed through S3 Markets' registry and are estimated to facilitate a reduction of approximately 5,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions.
The agreement, effective from 2026 to 2030, allows PepsiCo APAC to account for emissions reductions in its agricultural supply chain while utilizing the Book & Claim model, which decouples the physical product from its environmental attributes. This approach can reduce logistics costs and emissions, enhancing sustainability efforts within the fertilizer and broader agricultural sectors. The partnership supports PepsiCo's commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, showcasing a tangible step towards decarbonization in the fertilizer industry.
