Epagri Invests R$51.7 Million in Agricultural Research and Infrastructure Modernization in 2025
In 2025, Epagri invested R$51.7 million to enhance agricultural research and infrastructure, including R$7 million for fleet renewal and R$5.4 million for new agricultural equipment. The organization also allocated R$16.6 million for technological upgrades and partnered with Cederural to secure R$3.2 million for training rural youth and women. Additionally, Epagri approved R$8 million in project financing for agricultural innovation and hired 417 new staff members to improve service delivery.

In 2025, Epagri invested R$7 million in fleet renewal with 68 new vehicles and R$5.4 million in agricultural equipment, enhancing its operational capacity. A total of R$16.6 million was allocated for technological upgrades, including data center collaboration with Civil Defense to improve operational security.
Additionally, R$1.9 million was spent on office renovations, while research facilities received critical upgrades in aquaculture and laboratory equipment. Epagri partnered with Cederural, securing R$3.2 million for rural youth and women training, alongside R$6.3 million from federal agreements for vehicles and agricultural tools.
Furthermore, R$2.5 million was allocated for meteorological services. The company approved R$8 million in project financing with Fapesc, targeting agricultural innovation. In total, R$88.9 million was distributed across agricultural research, rural extension, and education, complemented by a historic hiring of 417 new staff members to enhance service delivery.
