EPC Power Launches New Manufacturing Facility in South Carolina to Boost AI Data Center Support
EPC Power has opened a 167,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, creating 275 jobs. This expansion nearly triples the company's production capacity for power inverters critical to AI data center infrastructure, meeting surging global demand.

EPC Power's new facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, will produce power inverters capable of supporting up to 40GW of annual capacity, adding 27GW upon reaching full production by late July 2026. This facility is EPC Power's second in South Carolina and third overall, significantly increasing domestic production to support the growing AI data center market.
The inverters are crucial for managing fluctuating power demands in AI applications, enhancing grid stability. With the projected growth of the data center market at 14% CAGR, this expansion strengthens the U.S. supply chain and positions South Carolina as a technology innovation hub.
