EQ Resources Appoints Michael Nossal as Non-Executive Chair
EQ Resources has appointed Michael Nossal as its independent non-executive chair effective March 31, succeeding Oliver Kleinhempel. This leadership change is part of a strategy to enhance EQR's position in the tungsten market and evolve into a mid-tier mining company.

Effective March 31, Michael Nossal has been appointed as the independent non-executive chair of EQ Resources, succeeding Oliver Kleinhempel. Nossal, with extensive mining industry experience from roles at IGO Limited, Newcrest, MMG, and WMC Resources, aims to strengthen EQR's strategic direction amid evolving market conditions for tungsten.
In June 2025, EQR reported an 86% recovery rate from the Wolfram Camp project, acquired in 2023. The company anticipates further board changes to align with its growth strategy as it seeks to enhance its global tungsten position. These developments could impact EQR's competitiveness in the market and its long-term value creation.
