Equinix has announced that Jon Lin, Chief Business Officer, will separate from the company effective July 18. Lin joined Equinix in 2009 and was promoted to executive vice president and general manager of data center services in January 2022.
His notable achievements include the development of the Equinix Cloud Exchange, now known as Equinix Fabric, and leading the $3.6 billion acquisition of 29 Verizon data centers in 2017. The company plans to appoint a new chief product officer soon but has not disclosed a successor for Lin.
