Equity Bank Uganda has completed the migration of its core data center operations to Raxio Data Center in Namanve. This transition is intended to enhance system resilience, security, and service reliability for over two million customers.

The move also aims to improve transaction speeds and data security. Claver Serumaga, executive director at Equity Bank Uganda, emphasized the investment's focus on meeting client needs and enabling faster innovation in services such as real-time payments and trade finance. The Bank of Uganda supports this development as a crucial step for the national payments ecosystem.
