ESI Total Fuel Management announced the expansion of its Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO/R99) services for data centers, supporting operators in achieving Net-Zero 2030 goals. ESI established the first secure HVO/R99 supply chain on the East Coast to facilitate the adoption of renewable diesel, which can reduce carbon emissions by up to 90 percent compared to conventional diesel.
HVO/R99 serves as a drop-in fuel, maintaining fuel stability and cold-weather performance without requiring infrastructure changes. ESI aims to help data center operators implement coordinated strategies that enhance both sustainability and operational resiliency.
