Ethical Power Completes Sizing John Energy Storage Project Near Liverpool
Ethical Power has successfully completed the Sizing John Energy Storage Project near Liverpool, enhancing its reputation in high-voltage and storage solutions. As the principal contractor for asset owners Varco, Ethical Power delivered a comprehensive turnkey solution, which included design, civil works, and electrical connections to the National Grid. The project featured a 600-metre off-site route and the commissioning of a 132kV substation with an auxiliary transformer.

Ethical Power has completed the Sizing John Energy Storage Project, a strategic grid-balancing facility located near Liverpool. The project enhances Ethical Power's reputation as a reliable partner in high-voltage and storage solutions.
Ethical Power was appointed by asset owners Varco as the principal contractor, delivering a full turnkey solution that included design, civil works, and electrical connections at 33kV/132kV. Key components of the project involved a 600-metre off-site route connecting the client's substation to the National Grid's network and the procurement and commissioning of a 132kV substation with an auxiliary transformer on site.
