QUANTUM COMPUTINGDATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTUREDEFENSE

eToro is expanding its platform to include stocks from the Singapore Exchange (SGX), enhancing access for global users to Singapore-listed companies. The company activated its capital markets services license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in July 2025.

CEO Yoni Assia cited Singapore's active capital market and regulatory clarity as key advantages for regional expansion. A new feature will allow Singapore users to view and copy investment strategies from other platform users, simplifying global investing.

Retail investor interest in 2025 showed significant demand for AI infrastructure, quantum computing, and European defense stocks, with notable gains in companies like Nebius Group, Oracle, and BAE Systems. The shift towards long-term investments reflects a broader trend in investor behavior, emphasizing visibility and durability of earnings. eToro aims to leverage Singapore as a hub for Southeast Asia, combining local and global investment opportunities.
