Eurobattery Minerals Launches Production Phase for San Juan Tungsten Project in Spain
Eurobattery Minerals AB has commissioned Minepro Solutions, S.L. to lead the final technical design and metallurgical program for the Tungsten San Juan processing plant in A Gudiña, Ourense, Spain. This engineering work starts immediately. The plant aims to produce a high-quality tungsten concentrate, with an initial throughput of 10 t/h, scaling up over time. Operations are expected to start in Q1 2027. The project is critical for Europe’s supply of tungsten, currently dominated by a single country.

Eurobattery Minerals AB has begun the production phase of its tungsten project in San Juan, Spain, by engaging Minepro Solutions, S.L. for the final technical design and metallurgical confirmation program of the Tungsten San Juan processing plant. The engineering work commences immediately.
The facility is designed to produce a high-quality tungsten concentrate with an initial throughput of 10 tons per hour, aiming for operational start in Q1 2027. The project is deemed vital for Europe’s tungsten supply, which is heavily reliant on a single country, and will utilize a flexible design to support long-term development.
