EuroHPC Invites Tenders for INNOVATE Industrial Supercomputer in Bologna
The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking has issued a call for tenders to acquire the INNOVATE supercomputer in Italy. This initiative aims to enhance Europe's industrial computing capabilities, focusing on security and operational flexibility.

EuroHPC is seeking a vendor for the INNOVATE industrial supercomputer, with a tender submission deadline of September 8, 2026. The project, hosted by CINECA at the DAMA Tecnopolo in Bologna, has a total budget of EUR 11,615,385, including EUR 4,065,385 from the EU's Digital Europe Programme.
The INNOVATE supercomputer will feature a flexible architecture optimized for various applications, including AI, big data analytics, and robotics. It aims to bolster European industry by facilitating advanced digital skills and enhancing competitiveness. The INNOVATE Consortium, comprising multiple industrial partners, will oversee the project, indicating a collaborative effort in Italy's innovation landscape.
