European Energy Reports 2025 Revenue Growth and Expands Battery Storage Capacity
European Energy achieved €766m in revenue for 2025, up from €416m in 2024, despite curtailment impacting earnings. The company expanded its Battery Energy Storage Systems pipeline from 2.4 GW to 7.4 GW and launched the Kassø e-methanol facility in Denmark. A total of 1,189 MW of renewable projects entered construction, increasing capacity under construction to approximately 1.3 GW across eight countries. European Energy forecasts EBITDA of €200-300 million for 2026, supported by higher project sales and reduced curtailment.

European Energy reported a revenue increase to €766m in 2025, with gross profits at €258m and EBITDA reaching €170m. Project sales totaled €620m, but curtailment limited power sales to €138m. The company's Battery Energy Storage Systems pipeline grew from 2.4 GW to 7.4 GW, with grid-connected capacity at 54 MW.
The Kassø e-methanol facility in Denmark began operations, marking a significant development. By year-end, 1,189 MW of renewable projects entered construction, and European Energy managed a total energy production capacity of 3.8 GW.
The company secured over 20 power purchase agreements, enhancing long-term revenue visibility. Looking ahead, European Energy anticipates improved performance in 2026 with an EBITDA forecast of €200-300 million.
