Gujarat CM Discusses Major Investments Ahead of VGGS 2027
Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel engaged with various global and domestic companies to discuss significant investment proposals in key sectors, including battery manufacturing and pharmaceuticals, in preparation for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027. The summit, scheduled for January 10 to 12, 2027, aims to enhance economic partnerships and attract substantial foreign investment.

In advance of the VGGS 2027, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel held meetings in New Delhi addressing investments across multiple sectors. Notable proposed projects include a Rs 7,000 crore soda ash complex in Kutch, a Rs 1,200 crore pharmaceutical facility, and a USD 4 billion green e-methanol plant at Kandla.
Discussions involved Sberbank, LG Energy Solution, PB Fintech, and others focusing on battery manufacturing and insurance initiatives. The Chief Minister also highlighted ongoing projects in the biotechnology sector and the state's data centre policy promoting infrastructure growth. The summit is expected to attract key international delegations and strengthen Gujarat's economic ties.
