Eutelsat Expands LEO Satellite Ecosystem with Key Partnerships
Eutelsat has formed new partnerships to enhance its OneWeb satellite network, despite recent financial challenges. Significant agreements include Rocket Lab supplying solar panels for 100 satellites and a collaboration with Clear Blue Technologies for 1,500 to 2,500 systems under Eutelsat Konnect WIFI.

Eutelsat is advancing its ecosystem surrounding the OneWeb LEO satellite network through multiple recent partnerships. Rocket Lab will supply solar panels for 100 OneWeb satellites, contributing to Eutelsat's technical support for its LEO fleet.
Additionally, Clear Blue Technologies plans to deliver between 1,500 and 2,500 Pico-Plus systems for the Eutelsat Konnect WIFI program during the current fiscal year. A formal three-year supply contract is expected to be signed soon.
Eutelsat is also launching a pilot program named 'Eutelsat Sunrise' to meet new EU cybersecurity regulations, initially in Germany and later expanding to Spain, France, and the UK. Despite these operational advancements, Eutelsat's stock remains under pressure, having lost 11% in the past month and 24% year-on-year, with a net debt of €1.46 billion as of June 30, 2026. This financial context highlights risks amid growing partnerships in aviation and European security infrastructure.
