EVE Energy Launches Sodium-Ion Battery and AI Robotics Center in Huizhou
EVE Energy has begun construction on its Sodium Energy Headquarters and Jinyuan Robotics AI Center in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, with an investment of approximately RMB 1 billion. The facility will focus on the research and mass production of sodium-ion batteries, boasting an annual capacity of 2 GWh, and aims to enhance energy storage technologies while supporting AI-driven advancements in lithium battery manufacturing. The new batteries, designed to be non-traceable and non-combustible, will primarily cater to AIDC data centers to address growing energy demands.

On December 22, EVE Energy commenced construction on the EVE Sodium Energy Headquarters and Jinyuan Robotics AI Center in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. The project, with an investment of approximately RMB 1 billion, will cover about 90,000 square meters and aims to enhance energy storage technologies and manufacturing through the integration of sodium-ion battery R&D, mass production, and AI robotics.
It is designed to have an annual production capacity of 2 GWh, focusing on 'non-traceable' and 'non-combustible' sodium-ion batteries, which offer advantages such as a wide operating temperature range and enhanced safety. The batteries will primarily serve AIDC data centers to meet evolving energy demands. Additionally, the AI Center will enable intelligent upgrades in lithium battery manufacturing and support the development of AI-driven products.
