Everfuel and Hy24 Form €200M Joint Venture for Green Hydrogen in Nordics
Everfuel and Hy24 have established a €200M joint venture to enhance electrolyser capacity for green hydrogen in the Nordics. This initiative aligns with Denmark's hydrogen strategy aimed at achieving 4 to 6 GW of electrolyser production capacity by 2030, leveraging the country's wind resources.

Everfuel will hold a 51% stake in the joint venture, with Hy24's Clean H2 Infra Fund owning 49%. The venture will acquire the HySynergy Phase 1 facility in Fredericia, Denmark, which has a capacity of 20 Megawatts and will contribute to decarbonizing local industrial processes.
Additionally, HySynergy Phase 2, a 300 Megawatt project, has received €33.1M in IPCEI financing. The joint venture aims to advance hydrogen market growth in Europe and beyond while supporting Denmark's ambitious green energy goals. It will allow Everfuel to finance its projects and create long-term contracts with corporate clients for hydrogen supply.
