EverWind has received a US$175 million investment from Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit to develop over 650 MW of wind energy in Nova Scotia. This funding supports the Point Tupper Green Fuels Project, establishing Nova Scotia as a clean energy producer and exporter.

The project represents over $2 billion in investment and will create hundreds of jobs. Construction is set to begin in 2026, with operations expected to start in 2028. The Indigenous-led consortium, including Membertou First Nation, holds majority ownership in the wind projects. The investment reflects strong institutional support for EverWind's renewable energy initiatives.
