Falmouth's Great Pond Sewer Project is set to begin construction in the coming weeks, aiming for completion by late 2027. This project will provide sewer services to the northeast portion of the Maravista peninsula and part of Teaticket, directing wastewater to the Falmouth Wastewater Treatment Facility on Blacksmith Shop Road. Phase 1 includes the installation of sewer lines, pump stations, pressurized piping, and other necessary infrastructure, following a watershed management strategy approved at a town meeting in 2023.
