Fayetteville Planning Commission to Review Highway 85 Data Center Proposal
The Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission will review a proposed data center along Highway 85 North on January 27, submitted by CHI/Acquisitions, LP. City leaders are assessing the potential impact of data centers on local infrastructure, following concerns raised by residents about utility demands. The meeting will also consider annexation requests from Corvus Investment Group, LLC, and plans for Piedmont Fayette Hospital, with recommendations made to the City Council.

The Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission will review a proposed data center along Highway 85 North on January 27. The site plan from CHI/Acquisitions, LP for the 'Hwy 85 N DC Project' is under consideration.
City leaders are evaluating the impact of data centers, following the QTS facility's construction on Ga. Highway 54. Some residents express concerns about infrastructure strain and utility demands from large data centers.
