FedEx has secured additional business from BMW as part of its strategy to enhance B2B shipping operations. The company is also focusing on healthcare, allowing shippers to establish custom intervention and monitoring procedures.
This initiative includes creating tailored standard operating procedures in collaboration with pharmaceutical shippers. FedEx's B2B segment, contributing nearly half of its revenue growth this quarter, reflects the success of its strategy, which includes targeting industries like automotive and healthcare.
The establishment of a dedicated data center sales vertical aims to support and attract clients in the technology sector, highlighting opportunities in a rapidly evolving market. Additionally, FedEx is working with U.S. e-commerce companies, including Wayfair, to improve customer service through its integrated visibility tool and is successfully onboarding a large-package delivery agreement with Amazon.
