FedEx Supply Chain received the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council's 2025 Leadership Award in the Circular Economy category for its e-waste pilot program. The initiative involved partnerships with Pyxera Global, TERRA, Electronics Recycling Solutions, and the American Battery Technology Company, aiming to improve recycling rates of the 63.4 million tons of electronic waste generated in 2022.

The pilot explored logistics' role in reusing, repairing, and recycling electronics, targeting a landfill diversion rate of 98.62%. Following the pilot, the Circular Supply Chain Coalition was formed to enhance e-waste recycling across the U.S. and Europe, with funding from FedEx Cares.
