Felbermayr delivered two 140-ton transformers for the Kühtai 2 pumped-storage hydropower plant in Tyrol, Austria. The transformers, measuring 7.25 m x 3.54 m x 4.29 m, were transported by rail to Zirl and then on a heavy-duty modular combination.

A 15-axle configuration was used, including self-propelled and FT Series modules. The transport faced challenges such as narrow tunnels and steep gradients exceeding 16%. The ADDRIVE hybrid solution provided necessary power in high-alpine conditions. The collaboration between Felbermayr and Goldhofer was crucial for the operation's success.
