Ferrero to Develop 45,000 sqm Cold Logistics Hub in Asti by 2027
Ferrero's investment in a 45,000 sqm cold logistics hub in San Marzanotto aims to enhance regional supply chain capabilities by 2027. This project reflects a broader trend in Asti's logistics sector, which is seeing increased investment and infrastructure development.

Ferrero plans to establish a cold logistics hub on a 45,000 sqm site in San Marzanotto by 2027, with construction already underway following a certified activity notification submitted in mid-March. This site, previously unused for 27 years, will manage temperature-sensitive products, enhancing Ferrero's existing storage operations in Govone and supporting a more complex supply chain.
Concurrently, Gabetti is marketing 100,000 sqm of logistics and data center space in via Maggiora, while the Quarto d'Asti area is seeing a partnership with Valtidone Logistic Development for an additional 100,000 sqm. The strategic integration of Asti into the Genoa retroport system and recognition as a Simplified Logistics Zone (ZLS) remain critical for maximizing investment potential in the region.
