Fertiglobe Acquires Wengfu Australia, Targets $1 Billion EBITDA by 2030
Fertiglobe plc has acquired Wengfu Australia's distribution assets in October 2025, projected to add $23 million in annual EBITDA by 2030. The company anticipates an additional $22 million from scaling DEF and AGU production, and its Manufacturing Improvement Plan aims for $110-120 million in EBITDA gains by 2028.
In Q3 2025, Fertiglobe reported revenues of $758 million, a 53% year-over-year increase, with adjusted EBITDA rising 69% to $286 million and margins at 37.7%. Adjusted net profit soared 370% to $134 million, aided by rising urea prices and effective execution of its Grow 2030 strategy, which targets $1 billion EBITDA by 2030.
Despite a 3.6% stock decline over the past year, analysts remain optimistic, with eight of 11 recommending 'Buy' ratings. However, challenges in the low-carbon ammonia sector and rising costs pose risks to future growth.
