FFD POWER has launched its 800V Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), designed for megawatt-scale photovoltaic-battery energy storage (PV-BESS) projects. This turnkey solution enables significant improvements in efficiency, scalability, and project economics by reducing operating current and electrical losses compared to traditional 400V systems.

The 800V platform simplifies system design and installation by aligning with modern 800V PV inverters, allowing for direct integration without additional transformers. The modular, plug-and-play design features a liquid-cooled cabinet with 418 kWh capacity and 210 kW output, facilitating quick deployment and phased capacity expansion. The system complies with international standards and is engineered for flexibility, making it suitable for various applications including grid services and microgrids, while also addressing cybersecurity and maintainability concerns.
