A fire occurred at the Convergent lithium-ion battery storage site located at 28 Church Street, Warwick, at approximately 10:19 PM. The Warwick fire and police departments, along with the Orange County Hazardous Materials Unit and Emergency Services, responded to the incident.

The haz-mat team monitored air quality, reporting no danger to the community. Convergent has suspended operations at the site pending an investigation into the cause of the fire, which was contained to a single container.
