The Smariuskade district in Tilburg is set to welcome its first residents next month, with nearly 800 homes planned. The thirty completed homes were prefabricated and installed within a week. The project will feature a mix of housing types, including social and mid-range rentals, with 110 rental apartments from WonenBreburg already underway.

A notable 220-unit tower, De Korenaar, is also in development, expected by late 2028. The area will include community facilities and utilize a heating system that draws on waste heat from a VodafoneZiggo data center.
