Firstcolo has received approval to construct a data center in Rosbach, Germany. Founder Jerome Evans accepted the building permit from Birgit Weckler, the First Deputy of the Wetterau district. Firstcolo commits to providing excess heat to the municipality free of charge for 20 years, which is a byproduct of the operation of high-performance computers in the data center.

The facility will be powered entirely by renewable energy. Local officials, including Mayor Steffen Maar, highlight the data center as a significant milestone for the economic development of Rosbach.
