Fitzroy Advances Chile Copper Project with New Drill Results
Fitzroy Minerals is moving towards a prefeasibility study for its Buen Retiro copper project in Chile, targeting production by 2028. Recent drill results indicate significant copper mineralization, enhancing the project's viability and potential partnership arrangements.

Fitzroy Minerals has reported substantial copper mineralization at its Buen Retiro project in Chile, with an anticipated prefeasibility study due by mid-2027. Recent drilling highlights include hole BRT-DDH072, which intersected 111.9 metres averaging 0.97% copper.
The project covers 132 sq. km in the Punta del Cobre belt, near the past-producing Manto Negro mine. The prefeasibility study is part of an earn-in agreement with Pucobre and Sociedad Contractual Minera Buen Retiro, likely resulting in a 70%-30% ownership split.
Fitzroy has four rigs currently drilling and plans an additional 9,000 metres this year to enhance resource estimates and test new exploration targets. The copper resource at Buen Retiro is critical as it prepares for production in 2028.
