Fitzroy Minerals Reports Major Copper System Discovery at Buen Retiro Project in Chile
Fitzroy Minerals announces significant copper findings from drilling at its Buen Retiro project in northern Chile, preparing for an initial resource release. Highlight hole BRT-DDH045 intersected 384 metres grading 0.22% copper, including notable intervals of 94 metres at 0.33% copper and 26 metres at 0.45% copper. The project is located near Copiapó and indicates potential in the Punta del Cobre copper belt, a region with significant copper operations.

Fitzroy Minerals is revealing a major copper system at its Buen Retiro project in northern Chile, with drilling results indicating significant copper mineralization. Hole BRT-DDH045 intersected 384 metres grading 0.22% copper from a depth of 4 metres, including 94 metres at 0.33% copper and 26 metres at 0.45% copper.
The project is located near Copiapó, in the Punta del Cobre copper belt, which includes Lundin Mining's Candelaria mine. Fitzroy is conducting infill drilling for an initial resource ahead of a prefeasibility study. The Buen Retiro site is 4 km from the Pan-American Highway and 40 km from the Pacific coast.
